I like that they are open until 9! I needed a night warm drink so I came here for a decaf americano. Pretty good americano, cute vibe and right next to levy park - honestly a hidden gem!

Everything about this place was outstanding. The location is epic. The first elections were great, and the ambience was quiet enough to where I could enjoy a conversation with my friends. The service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable

Came here on a busy Saturday but they worked really fast! It was very very busy - a lot of people studying and hanging out, really good natural lighting in the restaurant. Merch was also really cute and I loved the furniture and decorations. The drinks were a bit sweet but delicious overall! I added an extra shot to mine (like I always do) and my friends loved theirs.

So this location is nestled within close proximity to the cutest park with lots of surrounding places to check out too. Definitely somewhere I plan to revisit when I'm in the mood for a nice, relaxing day. As far as ambiance is concerned Slowpokes itself gives a quaint, subtly sophisticated coffee spot vibe. Just a disclaimer it does get pretty packed in there! So if you come with intents to dine in or do work, be prepared to share a table with someone or wait for the next available seat. Food was so good and paired so nicely with my coffee. My friend opted for the breakfast bagel and it looked soooo good. Coffee/Lattes truly stole the show. Literally 5/5! I can be a matcha snob but that one was soooo good. Not only was I REVVED UP after having my latte, but it was actually so good that I sat and ordered another drink just to explore their menu more. Only thing I didn't care for was the customer service for my second order (mind you this is the same day). For my first order I was helped by a young lady who was super sweet and suggestive. By the time I placed my second order there was a guy and I was puzzled when he didn't ask whether I was dining in or not and automatically made my second drink in a paper cup. Also it didn't help that this same person didn't really greet my friend or I. Either way though I fully endorse this spot and love it to my coreee! If you're in the mood for some specialty crafted coffees/lattes, look no further! I left there sooooo satisfied. Cheers to one of my new favorite Houston coffee spots!

Favorite place to study! Everytime I've gone they have such good music playing and their iced chai tea latte is my favorite. I recently tried their matcha latte and I'll stick with my regular iced chai latte instead. It was very milky and very faintly tasted like matcha I could tell by just the color it wouldn't be too good. What I did love was their prosciutto panini it was amazing! I think it's my new favorite food item they have. Sweet, savory and their bread reminds me of a pretzel, it's perfect. As per usual I will be back service is always great and seating availability is consistent.

I love the sloth themed shop. Nice gathering space. I had an espresso and it was quite strong. Ample private lot on site. A lot of people were eating so their food must be good!

This place is in a great location. The woman at the register was sooooo bubbly and nice and I just want to be friends with her now kind of vibes. I had questions about the pumpkin pie latte and omg it was everything I ever wanted. I also made dog friends. 10/10 recommend.

Absolutely love the aesthetic of this place. Lots of natural lighting being emitted from the entrance, and the view of Levy park adds a cherry on top. This is one of your go-to spots when it's a sunny day and you want to catch up with friends or study. Personally, it's a little too dim for me whenever I sit toward the back but if you prefer low light settings, give it a shot. Only other complaint is that you get a 2 hour limit on wifi access whenever you buy something. Got a little too trigger happy and forgot to take a picture... but I recommend the oh one eight flatbread for a nice snack. I find it to be one of the more unique and savory dishes of this place.

My friends and I had dinner nearby and weren't just ready to go home yet. The trusty Yelp app said Slowpokes was literally right around the corner from where we were. Since we were all parked already, we just walked right on over. This Kirby Grove location is not their first location, but it is the first location that I visited. This location is located in what looks like an office building that has restaurants and shops on the ground level. Walking in I immediately thought this place looked like a coffee shop on steroids. It was huge! The coffee counter was right there when you walked in. Right behind it was a bar set up for all your beer and wine needs. There was also an ample amount of seating inside and outside and a beautiful park directly across as well. Customer service was great, especially for someone like me that never knows what they want. The menu here is pretty huge. You have quite a few options to choose from between the food and drink menu. The food menu consists of breakfast options (served all day), flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and shareable items. They use food options from other local spots as well. Great community atmosphere here. The drink menu consists of wine of all varieties, local beers, mocktails, refreshers and all kinds of coffee and tea options. I was here for coffee and coffee only, so I focused on that section this trip. Right away, the Reeses Latte stood out to me. I am a sucker for Reeses peanut butter cups so I had to try it. What I like about this place is that they roast all their own coffee and you can taste the high quality ingredients they use. My latte was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet, but the peanut butter and mocha flavors were definitely there. I savored every sip. If there were a Slowpokes in my part of town, I would be there all the time. This place had great vibes and I loved what I ordered. Can't wait till my next Slowpokes visit!
